SUMMER CAMP SERIES

AGES 7-9

WHAT TO EXPECT?

Our BYO LED Night Light Summer Camp is full of activities for curious STEAM (Science, Technology, Arts, and Mathematics) learners.  Our Summer Camps follow our philosophy of Designing, Making, and Playing.

ACTIVITIES:

  • Design and 3D print your own light-up toy

  • Build and code an LED Night Light Project using Arduino

  • Bridge-building competition

  • Create animations using digital tools and clay

4. What are your COVID-19 Precautions?

We are limiting the number of students per class. Masks and face coverings are mandatory for all students and staff present.  We will have hand sanitizing stations and all students will have their own tools and projects to avoid cross-contamination from sharing equipment.

5. Will lunch be provided?

Due to COVID-19 we are unable to offer any sort of snack/food to students.

1. Will my child have fun in the program?

We are confident that your child will love our program. The curriculum, activities, and fun games have been developed so children can not only learn but also have a great time while doing so. 

2. Does my child need to bring their own computer?

Due to the nature of our programs computers/chromebooks are required; however, your child may bring their own computer or choose to rent it from us for the week at the moment of purchase.

3. Will my child bring something home?

All of our programs have hands-on projects,  and the majority will have a complete project to bring home. In this case students will not only be able to bring a 3D Printed small project, and other crafts but also their own functional LED Night Light.

We are a Canadian company specialiced in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) and our Head Quarters are located in North Vancouver British Columbia, we have several locations accross Canada over the summer to bring our STEAMazing experience closer to you.
