As we reach a third of the way through our Indiegogo campaign, our team here at Zen Maker Lab is thankful for everyone who has backed us. Although we have yet to make a significant dent in our goal, we remain optimistic that the community will support what we are trying to accomplish.
The genesis of this organization began with an eclectic group of engineers, designers, and entrepreneurs enamoured by the possibilities STEAM/STEM have to offer. We believed that by fostering ingenuity and creativity in our youth, we could do our part in empowering the next generation, who will go on to make the world a better place. Almost eight years later, the entity that is now Zen Maker Lab Inc. has administered innovative face-to-face and remote programs throughout Greater Vancouver, working closely with schools and the community at large while doing so.
By supporting this campaign, you become a partner in the never-ending struggle of giving our kids the best head start possible in life by preparing them to solve real world problems. Our project based Design, Make, and Play philosophy has made a difference in the lives of many of our students who have in some cases progressed from attending maker fairs to presenting at them. Every share, donation, or purchase goes a long way and is greatly appreciated.
